The USAID Economic Resilience Activity (ERA) has signed Memorandums of Cooperation with 30 utility companies in Ukraine. The memorandums envisage that ERA will purchase excavators, loaders, trailers, truck cranes and other equipment to meet the recovery needs of 20 communities across eight regions of Ukraine. The equipment will be provided to companies in the frontline regions and in the newly liberated territories of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv Oblasts.
These municipal support and construction equipment will strengthen the economic capacity of communities and help them recover much faster.
